About Poodles and Pals:

Poodles and Pals of Southern California is a small, non-profit IRS designated 501(c)(3) rescue that was formed by volunteers who love and adore this wonderful breed! Our goal is to assist Poodles who find themselves homeless - surrendered by their owners to our program, or those at risk of euthanasia at local animal shelters.

We also seek to educate the public about this most misunderstood dog. If you are reading this page, you probably already know how intelligent, funny, active and loving the Poodle is! We want to spread the word that Poodles aren't frou-frou dogs, but wonderful, loving companions. They are truly the best keep secret in the dog world!

Because we do love all dogs, sometimes we have other breeds for adoption as well. Poodles and other dogs staying with our foster families are evaluated for temperament and health. Any veterinary needs are addressed by our veterinarian, and all dogs are spayed/neutered and updated on vaccinations prior to adoption, if not already completed by the owner. We also microchip each dog, and send a collar with each adoption.

We do our best to match families with the right dog, considering their lifestyle, previous experience with dogs and with Poodles, and ensuring that they are ready to care for any of their new dog's training and health needs. Our goal is a happy adoption for both people and Poodle! We are here to provide support after the adoption, and will take the dog back at any time if the dog isn't the right match for a home.

Locations we serve:  Poodles and Pals will do a home visit prior to every adoption and we are not able to travel long distances.  Remember we are volunteers!!!  Therefore, Poodles and Pals adopts to those living in the Southern California counties of Western Riverside and Northern San Diego Counties.
